Brandon has a true gift for transforming tired furniture into statement pieces that look fresh, thoughtful, and full of charm. Known especially for his stunning work with floral transfers, he has an eye for placement, balance, and detail that instantly elevates every piece. Each project feels intentional, blending softness and artistry with the character of the original furniture. His up-cycling approach proves that beauty doesn’t have to be brand new—it just needs vision and creativity. "Staging this piece was difficult because I didn’t want to over do it. Whenever I stage, in general, I try to let the piece speak for itself. Almost as if it’s part of a story. Staging is just the end of a beautiful storyline. I went out of my way to go to my local craft store to pick up those two canvas’ since there wasn’t anything in my stash of home decor props that complimented this piece. Fresh flowers or plants are also something I try to incorporate while staging a piece. It adds another level of elegance."
"Dry brushing is fun, artistic, and therapeutic. It’s simply calming and adds a whole other dimension to the piece. I did an undercoat of Country Chic Paint Peacoat and dry brushed Belle of the Ball overtop. A dark blue base and a light blue over top is *chef kiss* exquisite. I decided to add stripes to the top three drawers because I haven’t done them in a long time! I believe the last time I did stripes was three-four years ago. I painted them in Simplicity. I then added a Re•design with Prima®️ transfer called Elegance and Flowers. The pink goes so well with the blue!"
"I was stuck with the hardware. I didn’t know if I wanted new ones or to keep the original ones. I ultimately chose to keep the original ones but spray painted them. I did one of my favourite techniques. I did a layer of “dark nickel” by Universal and while it’s still wet, add a mist of silver paint just to give it a little sparkle. I sealed the entire piece with Clear Coat by Country Chic Paint."
